How do you like your new bathroom? Every yurt now has its own private facilities – no more sharing!
We began works during lockdown as you know, to try to reduce any potential transfer of the dreaded ‘C’. And we have now completed a complete revamp of the bathroom facilities so that there are 4 separate bathrooms in the main complex for yurts 2-5 and yurt 1 still has its own facilities close to the yurt.
Yurts 2, 3, 4 and 5 each have private bathroom with a bath and a shower over including a relaxing rainfall shower, flushing toilet and hand basin with shaver light and socket.
Yurt 1 has a separate outdoor shower and compost loo (more developments to come later this year including putting a whole new bathroom with bath in).
There are some changes to the kitchen facilities too including 2 new electric cookers so we now have a total of 4 cookers (2 in each of the 2 communal kitchens).
